Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Salesforce Billing solutions that support recurring, usage-based, and transactional billing models
Develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL, and declarative tools to meet evolving business needs
Configure and optimize Salesforce CPQ and Billing components to support Lead-to-Cash workflows, including pricing, invoicing, and revenue processes
Partner with Finance, Sales, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Integrate Salesforce Billing with ERP platforms and external systems, such as financial systems and payment gateways
Support revenue operations by ensuring alignment with revenue recognition standards and downstream accounts receivable processes
Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, data models, integration mappings, and process flows
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to billing automation, data integrity, and system performance
Monitor Salesforce platform updates and proactively recommend enhancements to improve billing efficiency and scalability

Required

Five or more years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning, and SOQL
One to two years of direct experience working with Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce Billing solutions
Strong understanding of Lead-to-Cash processes and Salesforce CPQ architecture
Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP or financial systems
Working knowledge of revenue recognition concepts and compliance considerations
Experience supporting complex, multi-cloud Salesforce environments
Familiarity with root cause analysis and Lead-to-Case or related service tools
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, CPQ Specialist, or Billing Specialist are preferred but not required
Exposure to Agile or Scrum development methodologies
Experience supporting SaaS billing models, including recurring and usage-based billing
Familiarity with middleware or integration platforms
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
