Responsibilities
Compile and analyzes financial information to prepare general ledger entries
Performs statistical analysis to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes to general ledger accounts
Resolves inconsistent or inaccurate financial information in preparation of schedules, account reconciliations, and reports
Assists in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Other duties as assigned, including special projects
Qualification
Required
BA/BS degree in accounting
Experience with general ledger functions, preparing and reviewing account reconciliations, and identifying, researching, and resolving problems
Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and especially Excel)
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Access – accounting software
Preferred
The ideal candidate plans to pursue their CPA
Experience including the month-end/year-end close processes strongly preferred
Experience with intercompany transactions preferred
