Responsibilities
Serve as a technical advisor to the program and customer, supporting complex cloud infrastructure requirements
Consult on the design, build, and deployment of scalable cloud architectures across commercial cloud platforms
Provide hands-on implementation guidance, including feasibility assessments for integrations and cloud services
Advise on cloud accreditation and security compliance activities
Consult on the development of automation and IaC solutions using tools such as Terraform
Advise on the integration of systems and services using APIs, cloud-native tools, and open-source technologies
Apply scalable networking technologies (load balancers, firewalls) and web standards (REST APIs, authentication)
Consult on container and orchestration environments including Docker and Kubernetes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technical, operational, and security requirements
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, best practices, and documentation for stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI Eligibility
Google Cloud or other Cloud certifications (i.e. AWS, Azure, Oracle, etc)
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, OR additional work experience in lieu of degree
10+ years of relevant experience overall
5 years of experience in engineering or cloud
3 years of experience as an engineer or engineering manager
Experience with scalable networking technologies (such as Load Balancers, Firewalls) and web standards (such as REST APIs, web security mechanisms)
Experience with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based solution architectures
Experience working with and managing external partners/customers, especially Federal/DOD customers
Understanding of open source server software
Experience with US Government Contracts
Remote (must reside within the CONUS)
