Responsibilities
Lead complex data analysis initiatives to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities across large, multi-source datasets
Translate business requirements into analytical models, dashboards, and actionable insights
Perform deep-dive analyses to support strategic decision-making and executive reporting
Design and maintain analytical data models, KPIs, and metrics aligned with business objectives
Define data standards, best practices, and governance guidelines for analytics
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting layers
Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms
Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Enable self-service analytics for business teams through well-designed dashboards and documentation
Partner with data engineering teams to optimize data pipelines and analytics-ready datasets
Act as a subject matter expert and mentor junior analysts
Contribute to analytics roadmaps, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
Identify and resolve data quality issues and implement validation checks
Support data governance, compliance, and security initiatives
Document analytical processes, definitions, and methodologies
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles
Strong expertise in SQL (advanced querying, optimization, complex joins, window functions)
Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytical data modeling
Experience working with large datasets in cloud or on-prem environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to executive audiences
Proven ability to work independently and lead analytics initiatives end-to-end
Preferred
Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics and automation
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform; e.g., Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
Exposure to ETL/ELT pipelines and collaboration with data engineering teams
Experience in domains such as finance, e-commerce, healthcare, telecom, or SaaS
Knowledge of statistical analysis, forecasting, or experimentation (A/B testing)
