Mid LevelLargeton Group is seeking an Azure Engineer to serve the State of Mississippi in a fully remote capacity. The role involves implementing and managing Azure architecture, automating infrastructure processes, and ensuring security within the Azure environment.

Responsibilities
Serve as an Azure Engineer for the State of Mississippi, working 100% remote
Implement and manage landing zone architecture in Microsoft Azure using Terraform
Provision, configure, monitor performance, enforce policy governance, and ensure security within the Azure cloud environment
Analyze and improve existing operational standards, processes, and governance
Develop and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines for automated and consistent platform deployments
Manage security and access controls for cloud-based solutions
Automate processes and manage the lifecycle of infrastructure
Utilize GIT for source code management
Collaborate with, mentor, and support teammates and cross-functional partners
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with strong attention to detail
(Preferred) Apply knowledge of Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure, security concepts, and access control
(Preferred) Understand Azure Active Directory integration, network planning (CIDR, vNet gateways), and use native Azure monitoring/logging services
