After Crew Coordinator/ECS Administrative Assistant
The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati is dedicated to creating a vibrant Jewish community through various programs and events. The After Crew Coordinator / ECS Administrative Support role involves providing operational and administrative support to the Early Childhood School and coordinating the after-school program for children ages 5–12.

Responsibilities
Coordinate daily After Crew operations for the J’s five-day-a-week after-school program
Oversee After Crew staff and support a team culture rooted in positivity, safety, accountability, and child development
Ensure the program environment is safe, caring, healthy, and inclusive for children of all backgrounds
Support consistent supervision, communication, and staff planning to maintain high-quality programming and an individualized experience for children
Support the ECS Program Manager with compliance-related responsibilities including staff files, training completion, background check tracking, and required documentation
Support day-to-day ECS operations including front desk coverage, school closing/opening needs, and stepping into classrooms as needed for breaks, ratios, and additional support
Serve as a logistics and operational support hub for ECS staff to ensure smooth daily functioning
Support general ECS ordering needs, supply tracking, and inventory processes including maintaining checklists and systems
Create and manage breakfast/snack menus
Order food and supplies, communicate with vendors as needed, and oversee inventory/receiving
Coordinate with the kitchen to develop monthly lunch menus
Maintain appropriate documentation for food program, including weekly/monthly menus and monthly lunch counts
Maintain allergy and medication documentation systems, including tracking expiration dates and proactively following up with families to ensure compliance
Plan and execute staff engagement and appreciation initiatives, including professional development day (PDD) meals and Teacher Appreciation Week
Coordinate ECS summer t-shirt project (design/vendor coordination, size collection, ordering, budget management)
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational skills
Experience in program coordination or administration
Ability to supervise and lead a team
Knowledge of child development principles
Excellent communication skills
Experience working with children ages 5-12
Ability to create a safe and inclusive environment
Experience with compliance-related responsibilities
Ability to manage logistics and operational support
Experience with food program documentation and inventory management
Ability to plan and execute staff engagement initiatives
