Work Tool Ordering Specialist

Ohio CAT is a division of Ohio Machinery Co that aims to be a top-performing industry leader. The Work Tool Ordering Specialist provides administrative support and manages the ordering of Caterpillar machine attachments and work tools, collaborating with various divisions of the company.

Responsibilities

Support sales operations for Caterpillar Equipment work tools and attachments across all Ohio CAT locations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory optimization
Serve as the primary point of contact for all work tool inventory inquiries and support
Confirm compatibility of work tools and attachments with Caterpillar machines
Maintain accurate inventory records, including specifications and sizing, ensuring data integrity and accessibility
Monitor supplier stock levels and availability
Develop and implement best practices for inventory management, including aged inventory reduction and forecasting strategies
Approve vendor invoices and ensure compliance with company standards
Support system processes for inventory receipt and other operational tasks
Perform additional duties assigned to support business objectives

Required

High School/GED
Ability to manage priorities for individual responsibilities and tasks
Quality computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAP programs
Skilled in written and verbal communications
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Data entry skills and attention to detail

Preferred

At least 2 years of general office administration experience
At least 2 years of experience ordering machinery or parts
Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery
