Quality Control Supervisor

Responsibilities
Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability to QC employees
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), HACCP, and OSHA safety regulations
Allocate labor, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet QC goals and production targets
Conduct root cause analysis and complete HACCP, Allergen, Fryer, and other safety/quality reports
Oversee daily QC schedules to achieve safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets
Direct oversight of QC staff on a shift
Provide hands-on support, coaching, and training for new or less experienced employees
Escalate complex issues to senior supervisors or Chief Supervisor
Diagnose and resolve product, process, and equipment issues to minimize downtime
Analyze performance data, recommend corrective actions, and implement process improvements
Develop work schedules, training programs, and staffing plans
Decision-making focused on immediate QC and production needs
Partner with Production, Maintenance, HR, and other departments to resolve issues
Maintain accurate reports, logs, and metrics for QC, safety, and attendance
Promote teamwork, continuous improvement, and a positive work environment
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in business, Engineering, Food Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
1-2 years in manufacturing, including leadership experience
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production reporting systems (ERP/ADP or similar)
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Food Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
3-5 years in manufacturing, including leadership experience
Previous supervisory experience in food manufacturing or related production environment strongly preferred
Knowledge of food safety, GMPs, HACCP, and OSHA safety standards
