The role involves managing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scopes from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring compliance with NYC codes and overseeing schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities
Manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) scopes from preconstruction through closeout
Coordinate MEP consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams
Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings for MEP systems
Oversee schedules, budgets, procurement, and cost control related to MEP trades
Ensure MEP work is executed in compliance with NYC codes, safety standards, and project specifications
Support commissioning, testing, inspections, and turnover documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or similar
5+ years of experience managing MEP scopes on construction projects in NYC for a General Contractor ideally. Open to Engineering backgrounds too
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and low-voltage systems
Experience with Procore and construction documentation workflows
Ability to manage multiple trades and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and coordination skills
