Responsibilities

Intern will provide project assistance in Application profiling and decommissioning of applications

End-to-End Process Mapping

Develop comprehensive process views for core business functions within the electric utility sector

Document workflows and identify integration points between business processes and IT systems

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of process documentation

IT Application Portfolio Analysis

Assist in building and maintaining an application inventory for the organization

Support efforts in application rationalization by evaluating usage, functionality, and business value

Contribute to modernization planning by identifying legacy applications and recommending potential upgrades or replacements

Data Gathering & Reporting

Collect and analyze data related to application performance, dependencies, and business alignment

Prepare reports and visualizations to support decision-making for IT strategy and transformation

Required

Successfully completed two (2) or more years of undergraduate study towards a Computer Science degree from an accredited college or university

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Preference will be given to students who attend accredited colleges and universities in Tri-State's service territory which includes Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and New Mexico
