Responsibilities
Record examination, testimony, judicial opinions, and judge's charge to jury, judgment or sentence of court or other proceedings in a court of law using shorthand, a stenotype machine or audiotape
Read portions of transcript during trial on judge's request and ask speakers to clarify inaudible statements
Perform other duties as required or assigned
Qualification
Required
Equivalent to three years of experience in a courtroom environment taking and transcribing verbal testimony
Candidates must be CCR and/or RPR certified
