Responsibilities
To work with potential and existing Distributors & Dealers and their customers to define the needs of their target applications and effectively match them with Caudwell Marine technology, throughout your area of geographic or category responsibility in order to grow our market share
To engage with potential and existing Distributors & Dealers to assess and ensure their readiness to sell and support Caudwell Marine product in their market, to the highest and industry leading levels and grow our market share
To support the sales operation in identifying and engaging all types of prospective customers (Distributors/Boat Builders/Boat Operators) and promoting Caudwell Marine products, with focus on providing product and technology solutions to meet customer needs
Act as primary technical contact point for all direct customers throughout the sales and delivery process, from quotation development to installation, commissioning and initial product use for your area of geographic / category responsibility
To support the sales operation in identifying and engaging all types of prospective customers (Distributors/Boat Builders/Boat Operators) and promoting Caudwell Marine products, with focus on providing product and technology solutions to meet customer needs
Ensure the right product package is presented to customers (Distributors/Boat Builders/Boat Operators), including provision of suitable technical and performance data to drive market share growth and align with sales strategy. Support quotation and negotiation process accordingly
Define and integrate systems and processes to ensure an industry leading Application Support experience, which is both effective and efficient
Support Caudwell Marine with customer sales activities/promotions/trade shows through presentations and other communication of Caudwell Marine product & technical solutions
Supporting installation and commission of Caudwell Marine product on customer applications as required
Supporting customer training on Caudwell Marine products as required, specifically in relation to product performance, installation, service, repair and maintenance
Support customer demonstration, testing and field trial operations to ensure Caudwell Marine products and technology systems operate to the highest level within their capabilities. Ensure customers understand and experience the full potential and limitations of our product and technology systems
Continually assess business operation to implement industry leading practice, which delivers lean but effective operating and can meet and exceed customer expectations
Qualification
Required
Experience of marine propulsion installation and commission on variety of applications and the needs and expectations of vessel owners
Must be focused on customer experience and possess highly structured and organised approach
Customer facing and management experience for premium, high value and highly complex product
Must be a proven self-starter who welcomes a challenge
Mature and professional approach to problem solving and overcoming obstacles to success, both internally and externally
Direct experience of using and implementing technical support operations & systems which deliver premium customer experience
Highest level of communication skills to ensure customer expectations are fully understood internally and externally & our customers have full understanding of Caudwell Marine customer support activity
Highest level of relationship building and influencing skills to ensure Customer experience has the required support & resources across all business functions
Ability to integrate across all business functions on support of delivering a premium customer experience, specifically Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics and Marketing
Process driven with structured approach
Possess commercial acumen to understand customer drivers and their needs
