Responsibilities
Performs safety and operational tests on critical utility systems as mandated by regulatory agencies or hospital policies, including but not limited to: backflow preventions, water chemistry, alarms, steam traps, microwaves, emergency generators. Performs monthly generator test
Troubleshoots equipment using various diagnostic tools
Works independently with minimal supervision. Proficiently completes assignments and prioritizes workload
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Must be able to meet Fauquier Health driver's insurance eligibility requirements
Preferred
Journeyman HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical certification
At least 3 years of previous facility maintenance experience in a hospital setting
