Responsibilities
Own end-to-end recruiting for technical roles across engineering, infrastructure, data, and product-adjacent teams
Partner closely with engineering leaders to define roles, calibrate scope and seniority, and align on hiring priorities
Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill roles using outbound, referrals, and targeted market mapping
Screen candidates with a strong technical lens, assessing both depth of expertise and ability to succeed in a startup environment
Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on talent market conditions, compensation expectations, and tradeoffs
Manage candidate experience from first touch through offer close, ensuring clear communication and strong engagement
Drive process improvements across candidate outreach, interviewing, calibration, and closing to support fast but thoughtful hiring
Track pipeline health, identify hiring risks early, and communicate clearly with stakeholders
Partner with People and Finance Teams to support headcount planning and scalable recruiting practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally within B2B SaaS startups or high-growth tech companies
Proven ability to hire senior and specialized technical talent (backend, platform, infrastructure, machine learning)
Strong outbound sourcing skills and comfort engaging passive candidates
Ability to understand complex technical roles and translate them into compelling candidate narratives
High ownership mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decisions
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working in ambiguity, shifting priorities, and lean team environments
Passion for building teams and processes, not just filling roles
