Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM, EDR, and other security tools
Assist in identifying, investigating, and responding to potential security incidents
Support vulnerability management activities by collecting scan results and tracking remediation efforts
Document incidents, events, and investigations in ticketing and reporting systems
Assist in maintaining security policies, standards, and procedures
Participate in phishing simulations and awareness activities by tracking results and reporting outcomes
Support access control reviews and user account management tasks
Perform basic log analysis to identify unusual or suspicious activity
Escalate security events to senior analysts when necessary
Assist in maintaining inventory of IT and security assets
Participate in security assessments, audits, and compliance activities
Contribute to team knowledge base by documenting processes and playbooks
Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security trends
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Comply with all company policies and procedures
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
Qualification
Required
Strong interest in cybersecurity and information technology
Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and security principles
Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and escalate appropriately
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow documented processes and procedures
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, or EDR is preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
Equivalent work experience, internships, or security-related projects may be considered
0–2 years of experience in an IT or security role is ideal
