Responsibilities
Architect & Build: Design and develop scalable full-stack web applications using React, NextJS and Typescript, focusing on high availability and low latency
Optimize Performance: Drive the implementation of advanced web technologies, such as Server-Side Rendering (SSR) to ensure optimized user experiences
Drive Best Practices: Lead the adoption of the engineering best practices including observability and testing to ensure our code is efficient, scalable, and maintainable
Mentor & Lead: Act as a technical leader within the team—mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and managing stakeholders
Innovate: Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you will have the autonomy to suggest process improvements and influence product roadmap decisions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
7+ years of professional web development experience, with a demonstrated history of shipping robust, high-scale applications
Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern React workflows
Strong production experience with server-side technologies like Node.js and Next.js
Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences
Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend engineers, and product managers, in distributed environments
Proven track record of mentoring junior engineers and conducting code reviews
Preferred
Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, or similar)
Experience with component libraries (Material UI is a plus)
Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC is a plus
Deep understanding of CSS preprocessors (SASS) or CSS-in-JS libraries
Experience with Accessibility (a11y) and Internationalization (i18n)
