Sales & Business Development Manager

White Barn & Blooms is an emerging wedding and event venue set on a working lavender farm, and they are seeking a driven, personable professional to lead venue and product sales, marketing initiatives, and venue operations. The Sales & Business Development Manager will guide prospective clients from inquiry to booking while supporting ongoing marketing, business development, and event coordination efforts.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to inquiries and provide exceptional service to prospective clients
Conduct venue tours, showcasing amenities and key offerings
Clearly communicate the booking process, venue policies, and event details
Create tailored event proposals and guide clients from inquiry to booking
Maintain timely communication with clients, addressing questions or concerns throughout the planning process
Collaborate closely with clients to finalize event details, including layouts, setup needs, and special requests
Manage and oversee the venue calendar and event schedule
Ensure all event details are accurately planned and communicated to relevant team members
Coordinate seamlessly with the owners, vendors, and clients
Support clear internal communication to ensure smooth event execution
Lead marketing initiatives, including social media content and seasonal open house promotions
Manage and contribute to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms to drive awareness and inquiries
Coordinate styled shoots and collaborate with vendors and creatives to generate marketing content
Seek opportunities to grow the business through outreach, networking events, and community involvement
Build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors and industry partners
Build brand awareness to growing portfolio of locally made lavender products
Take on additional responsibilities related to business growth as needed
Support evolving sales and marketing strategies as the venue expands

Required

Minimum of two (2) years of sales or event management experience required
Minimum of one (1) year retail sales experience
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Strong customer service and sales background
Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills (in person, phone, and email)
Positive attitude, strong sense of urgency, and self-motivated work style
Ability to adapt to a flexible and demanding schedule, including client tour requests
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Gmail
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Ability to work independently

Preferred

Sales experience within the luxury wedding, events, catering, or hospitality industry strongly preferred
Event management experience and leadership skills are a plus
Proficient in social media tools, content creation, and engagement strategies
Experience using CRM tools
Creativity and skills to create social media content that connects with our ideal audience
