Responsibilities

Apply specific technological training to specific projects
Performs calculations and engineering analysis for component selection
Defines all aspects of product characteristics to meet specifications
Establishes and coordinates development schedule
Assists materials department in selecting suitable suppliers
Supports sales and service field activities
Complies with the company’s performance and conduct policies

Required

Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
Juniors and Seniors preferred
Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions now or in the future

Preferred

Basic knowledge in electronics & electrical engineering
Basic knowledge in analog power management a plus
Basic knowledge in Digital Signal Processors a plus
Basic knowledge in processor controlled data acquisition and device control a plus
Basic knowledge in PADs or other schematic / PCB layout systems a plus
Basic knowledge in thermodynamics and heat transfer a plus
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply these concepts to practical situations
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Ability to read, analyze and interpret schematics, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the technical strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
