IT Project Leader
Arconic is currently in search of an IT Project Leader – Financial Applications to join our IT Enterprise Applications group in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves leading projects for the Financial Applications group, managing stakeholder interactions, and overseeing enhancements and support for EBS applications.

Responsibilities
Lead several projects for the Financial Applications group EBS applications/functionality that you are assigned – initial challenge is to provide track leadership for our Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) 12.2.11 upgrade project
Establish and maintain a high level of stakeholder interaction to guide and direct customers through multiple upgrade testing cycles
Oversee continued enhancements, support, and further adoption of assigned modules
Directing others in supporting the existing on-premises systems and technologies
Participate as an internal consultant to Arconic’s businesses and various customer groups
Become Arconic’s first point of contact in IT for the EBS applications/functionality that you are assigned
Develop an in-depth understanding of the business processes in area(s) of assignment; participate in, and learn how to perform, the analysis of the customer's processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
Work closely with customers to develop and maintain a roadmap for future upgrades within the EBS financial applications. Plan for and successfully implement these solutions
Manage the reactionary support and/or preventive maintenance process for the systems or technologies in assigned area(s) of responsibility. Identify, establish, and support value-added cross-functional data and system linkages
Operate within Arconic’s IS standards and conventions and applicable Arconic BU/RU IT standards. Ensure appropriate methodologies, support processes, and procedures are followed
Comply with all guidelines detailed in the audit/compliance tool (with a specific focus on business partnerships, change control, disaster recovery, and security) for assigned area(s) of responsibility
Operate within an offshore model that provides development and/or support solutions in the assigned area(s) of responsibility
Pursue continuous learning consistent with the movement in job requirements, changes in technology, and changes in the organization
Lead the discovery, planning, and implementation of process improvements in individual tasks and in the work team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related subject from an accredited institution
5 years of related experience in Information Technology
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology
Preferred
5 year's project management experience
Working knowledge of Oracle's EBS R12 application and architecture that comes from prior EBS experience
Understanding of systems analysis, detail design, and programming techniques utilized in an Oracle EBS R12 environment
Basic experience with Oracle databases, PL/SQL, and SQL
.NET understanding, Oracle Service Bus (OSB) understanding, data transfers from banks
Knowledge of governance and change management procedures in an IT environment
Project management experience in leading several small to large projects, and demonstrate a solid understanding of project management processes, methodologies, and techniques
Strong human relation skills, and able to interact with internal and external customers, vendors, other IS professionals, and GIS management
Be able to provide work direction to offshore project and support resources
Provide effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively is a key success factor
