Employvision Inc. is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to support and modernize enterprise and operational network environments. This role focuses on infrastructure upgrades, incident response, and automation across Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead network upgrade projects across routers, switches, and firewalls

Upgrade Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto devices to Gold Standard versions

Support ruggedized network equipment in operational/industrial environments

Use Ansible for configuration automation and deployment

Resolve incident and problem tickets; participate in 24/7 On‑Call rotation

Provision VLANs, ports, routing, and firewall rules

Document configurations, SOPs, and project activities

Coordinate maintenance windows and follow change management processes

Qualification

Required

5+ years with Cisco routing/switching (IOS upgrades, core/access)

Hands-on experience upgrading Arista and Palo Alto platforms

Strong understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, and firewall policies

Proficiency with Ansible or similar automation tools

Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Ability to support after-hours issues as part of On‑Call rotation

Preferred

Experience supporting rugged/utility-grade network equipment
