Sr Principal Chief Engineer - R10219905
Northrop Grumman is a leader in technological advancements and is seeking a Sr. Principal Chief Engineer/Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to join their team. This role involves leading a cross-discipline engineering team and interfacing with various departments to ensure project success throughout the development and production phases.

Responsibilities
Lead and direct cross-functional engineering teams during proposal, design, manufacturing, and delivery phases of products in development and production phases
Support proposal development and new program acquisition efforts
Interpret statements of work assigned by program leadership
Develop and execute to project budgets and schedules, including Earned Value Management System (EVMS), critical path management, Estimates-at-Completion (EACs), and workload forecasts
Interface with functional departments to secure team staffing
Work with suppliers and be able to articulate project requirements
Brief internal and customer leadership on progress of work assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field and a minimum of 8 years related experience or Master's Degree in STEM and a minimum of 6 years related experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Must have an active/current Secret clearance. Secret clearance is required to start. Must be able to maintain this level of clearance for continued employment
2 years of hardware experience as Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, Technical lead, or other leadership role in a program office or business function with demonstrated team building, organizational, and interpersonal skills
2 years leadership experience in a team environment
2 years experience in hardware Design, Manufacturing or hardware Test process
Preferred
Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) managing Earned Value Management System (EVMS) projects
Fluency with developing and executing project schedules
PMP certification
Active and current Top Secret government clearance
