Project Controls Lead - LOW VOLTAGE CABLING

They are seeking a Lead Scheduler to oversee telecommunications cabling and infrastructure installations, ensuring project schedules are realistic and aligned with resources while mentoring other schedulers and optimizing processes.

Responsibilities

Regional leadership and escalation for all scheduling matters within the assigned area
QA/QC audits, health checks, and governance enforcement across P6 schedules
Mentorship and development of Schedulers in schedule quality and consistency
Cross-project resource forecasting, leveling, and capacity planning
Reporting and data integration between P6, IESOS, and PowerBI
Risk management, TIA/CIA mitigation, and schedule recovery oversight
Continuous improvement through process optimization and automation pilots

Required

Must have at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency
7+ years of scheduling or project management experience, including 5+ years in telecommunications or data center construction
Proficiency in Primavera P6 for resource loading, critical path analysis, and baseline management
Understanding of OSP/ISP cabling, conveyance, and telecom workflows
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-project management skills
Effective communicator and mentor with leadership experience
Proficiency in Excel and Power Query for reporting automation
Experience scheduling large-scale projects for major hyperscale data center clients
Integration of P6 data with PowerBI or SQL-based dashboards
Prior hands-on telecom field experience (installer, foreman, or field engineer)
Familiarity with SPI, CPI, and earned-value metrics
PMP, PSP, or equivalent certification
Experience developing custom dashboards or schedule-cost automation
Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop and implement project process improvement(s)

Have proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s)
