The role involves designing tooling, troubleshooting manufacturing processes, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Designing tooling for cold/hot heading, secondary processes and gaging
Troubleshooting manufacturing processes, machinery, tooling and gaging
Initiating recommendations for tooling materials, speeds, feeds and equipment setup
Researching capital appropriations for manufacturing equipment upgrades and replacements
Providing effective recommendations for the improvement of operational methods to reduce manufacturing costs and improve product quality
Assisting with quoting and costing activities
Promoting and implementing continuous improvement programs
Qualification
Required
Possess or are working towards a bachelor's degree in Engineering
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
Exhibit strong orientation toward continuous improvement
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
