Talent Sourcing Advisor

As a Talent Sourcing Advisor, you will be responsible for developing creative sourcing solutions for complex roles, collaborating with business teams to understand their needs, and providing insights on labor market data.

Responsibilities
Sourcing, screening, and assessing high impact candidates for targeted job requisitions and job profiles
Building strategic sourcing plans for defined business areas and using various sourcing channels to generate pipelines of qualified and diverse talent
Partnering with business teams to understand current & future business needs and role-specific requirements
Collaborating with other Sourcing Advisors and Talent Advisors to generate innovative ideas, maximize resources, and share information on effective sourcing strategies and candidate profiles
Building long term relationships with potential candidates through networking, employee referrals, cold calling and passive recruiting techniques
Managing pipelines of 'silver medalists' or 'bronze medalists' for future placement
Providing labor market research insights, including supply and demand reporting
Attending job fair events and assisting in other recruiting events as needed
Attending hiring leader intake meetings with the Talent Advisors as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of proven talent sourcing experience in an agency, search firm or corporate recruiting setting
Advanced proactive outreach, candidate mining, and cold calling sourcing skills including, Boolean search methods and techniques, social networking, research tools, online resume banks, competitor mapping, and other sourcing techniques such as blogs, alumni groups, conference attendee lists, personal home pages, etc
Preferred
Proven success applying best-in-class talent sourcing practices and developing strong business insights
Excellent networking and relationship building skills along with effectiveness in engaging passive candidates
Effective influencing skills and the ability to sell Schwab as an employer of choice
Proven success researching, interpreting and utilizing competitive intelligence and labor market data
Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify and mine untapped sourcing channels
Outstanding lead generation and candidate conversion skills
Experience effectively prioritizing multiple job openings and managing multiple searches under tight time constraints
Ability to sift through large volumes of resumes and select the most appropriate candidates for the interview process
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
BS/BA degree and/or equivalent work experience
