Responsibilities
Handle unemployment cases and cases involving wage and hour issues, leave issues, and employment discrimination
Represent individual clients
Engage in community outreach and education
Work closely with community partners
Qualification
Required
Recent law school graduates and more experienced attorneys are encouraged to apply
Third year law students are also eligible to apply, but preference will be given to a licensed attorney who can start sooner
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A demonstrated dedication to social justice and commitment to working with low-income communities
Preferred
Fluency in Spanish (written and oral) strongly preferred, as is experience in poverty or employment law
