Product Inspection Technician 2nd shift

The Production Inspection Technician is responsible for conducting food safety checks and monitoring the quality of products on the processing lines to ensure compliance with company specifications.
Food Processing
Responsibilities
Gather random samples and perform MPR AW (water activity) analysis in accordance with written procedures
Release product based on the results of AW samples
Ensure sanitary handling procedures in all activities
Inform Management of any Food Safety/Quality issues or of any processes which have become noncompliant with specified requirements
Other tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School or Equivalent
Basic computer literacy (Using iPad)
Understanding and compliance with all GMPs (OJT)
Understanding and compliance with all personal safety rules (OJT)
Familiarity with HACCP (OJT)
Preferred
Experience with Quality Assurance
6 months processing experience
6 months quality control experience
