Responsibilities
Perform accounting for company-owned and leased real estate
Manage lease accounting in compliance with ASC 842
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
Coordinate with teams for accurate property records
Track and analyze CapEx and OpEx for projects
Maintain fixed asset subledgers and depreciation
Support budgeting and long-range planning
Participate in audits ensuring SOX compliance
Assist with property acquisition and transactions
Ensure compliance with tax reporting requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–7 years of experience in real estate or corporate accounting
Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 842
Proficiency with ERP and lease accounting systems
Strong Excel skills for large datasets
Experience in multi-entity, global organizations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Familiarity with land management systems
Understanding of environmental remediation liabilities
Prior involvement in real estate transactions
