Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance existing Customer Data Warehouse applications
Ensure systems comply with corporate security, licensing, and technology standards
Support production systems, database design, performance tuning, and enhancements
Follow and promote safe work practices
Attend and comply with all required safety meetings and training
Work effectively within a team-based environment
Build and maintain strong relationships with business clients, IT partners, and team members
Develop and maintain technical design documents, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, run-books, and play-books
Collaborate with Supervisors and Project Managers to define timelines, task estimates, and cost projections
Manage multiple tasks under a diverse workload while meeting deadlines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field
3-5 years of IT and business experience in application development, production support, and database design
Proficiency in COBOL
Proficiency in SQL / PL-SQL
Proficiency in UNIX scripting
Experience with Oracle relational databases, including dimensional data models and reporting
Knowledge of SDLC methodologies
Experience across multiple hardware and software platforms
Familiarity with UNIX architectures and network protocols
Experience with data warehouse applications
Preferred
Java
OpenText Exstream development
QA / Testing experience
Bill presentment and billing systems experience
