Responsibilities
Handle all aspects of debt collection litigation, including pleadings, motions, and discovery
Draft and file lawsuits, judgments, garnishments, liens, and post-judgment remedies
Appear in court for hearings, assist at trials and mediations
Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements
Ensure compliance with FDCPA, state collection laws, and court rules
Communicate effectively with clients, debtors, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in case management system
Qualification
Required
Active bar admission in Colorado
At least 1 year of experience with debt settlement litigation
Ability to work proficiently with case management software and keep all files up to date
