Responsibilities
Manage and maintain our technology platforms, ensuring system reliability, integration, and performance
Implement cybersecurity best practices, including multi-factor authentication, access controls, and regular security audits
Oversee cloud infrastructure for a remote workforce, ensuring secure storage, backup, and recovery processes
Maintain IT governance policies and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2)
Serve as administrator for CRM, GMS, and LMS systems—handling configurations, permissions, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization
Lead integration projects to streamline reporting, data flow, and cross-platform functionality
Conduct system audits to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
Manage the relationship with the Managed IT Services Provider for helpdesk support, security, and cloud services
Oversee contracts with CRM/GMS consultants, LMS administrators, and other technology vendors
Negotiate service agreements to ensure high-quality, cost-effective outcomes
Provide timely technical support to staff across departments
Develop and lead IT training to improve system adoption and efficiency
Create and maintain user guides, SOPs, and onboarding/offboarding processes
Partner with the Data Analyst to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across systems
Implement and maintain data governance policies
Support leadership in developing dashboards and reports for decision-making
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, nonprofit technology, or data systems administration
Experience supporting remote/hybrid work environments
Proven expertise in IT infrastructure & cloud-based systems
Proven expertise in cybersecurity protocols & compliance
Proven expertise in systems administration for platforms such as NeonCRM, SmartSimple, or similar CRMs
Strong vendor and project management experience
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Commitment to racial equity and our values of justice, abundance, and community-led change
Preferred
Nonprofit or philanthropic sector experience
Familiarity with Brightspace, Blackbaud, or other learning/grants management systems
Certifications in IT security, project management (PMP), or systems administration
