Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end development life cycle, from architectural design and technology selection to full-stack implementation and deployment on AWS
Identify, implement, and integrate AI/ML and advanced automation techniques to drastically accelerate transaction flow and improve user-facing intelligence
Rapidly learn the business fundamentals to proactively contribute to the strategic roadmap
Act as a technical leader, leveraging colleagues' knowledge, and serving as a key resource for the wider team to maintain organizational agility and technical excellence
Strategically evaluate, integrate, and optimize third-party systems to scale our user base and transaction volume
Use high-level judgment to control and manage your own efforts
Deliver consistently on strategic timelines, analyze missed deliveries for systemic improvements, and drive a culture of continuous learning and shared improvement
Architect, develop, and own the quality assurance (QA) process for your work
Produce clear, concise architectural documentation to ensure platform clarity and long-term maintainability
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or other technical disciplines
Substantial experience developing and architecting web applications with demonstrable and detailed full stack experience, typically at a senior or principal level
Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and MongoDB is our foundational technical requirement
Demonstrable experience with React is a plus, but the ability to drive business outcomes through strategic engineering is paramount
Mandatory Experience with AI Coding Tools: Demonstrated mastery of AI coding tools (such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude Code) and a strategic mindset to use them to significantly accelerate the development cycle and efficiency, allowing for higher-level problem solving
Architectural Fluency: Extensive experience and curiosity across the entire tech stack, including back-end systems, complex build tools, cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), and database optimization
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Expert: Demonstrated experience with IaC practices using tools like Pulumi or AWS CloudFormation, and designing robust CI/CD pipelines to fully automate testing, integration, and deployment on AWS
Cross-Functional Skills: Experience building responsive components and ensuring cross-browser compatibility
Profile: Self-starter, self-motivated, highly independent, curious, creative, reliable, and driven to solve challenging, high-impact problems
Preferred
Significant experience in financial services or corporate finance
NLP/Conversational AI systems
