Team Lead - EVS - 20hrs Weekend NIGHTS
Sturdy Health is a healthcare organization, and they are seeking a Team Lead for Environmental Services. The role involves directing and coordinating activities of Environmental Services aides on assigned shifts, ensuring that all tasks are carried out in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Directs and coordinates activities and assignments of Environmental Services aides and/or project aides on assigned shift, maintaining documentation as appropriate
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of housekeeping/environmental services experience in an acute care hospital setting
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve as needed while maintaining workflow and daily activity
Ability to think critically in making decisions and problem solving to ensure urgent or emergent situations are handled correctly within hospital policies and procedures
Must have excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills in working with stakeholders across the care continuum, including patients, families, physicians and colleagues
Ability and flexibility to handle interruptions while maintaining momentum in meeting hospital-wide environmental needs
Ability to work independently exercising good judgment in addressing all task and staff related activities and challenges
High school diploma. Some college preferred
Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas
Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation
Preferred
Experience in a supervisory or lead role in an acute care setting
Strong computer knowledge a plus
