Traveling Superintendent
Top Tier Talent Group has partnered with a leading construction firm to find an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent. This role involves managing field operations on healthcare projects, particularly in active hospital environments, while ensuring safety, quality, and coordination among various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Manage daily on-site construction activities and site logistics
Oversee safety, quality, scheduling, and site logistics
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and deliveries
Manage phased construction in active hospital environments (ICRA)
Maintain field documentation including schedules, RFIs, submittals, and redlines
Support commissioning, closeout, and turnover activities
Communicate regularly with project management and ownership teams
Qualification
Required
8+ years of superintendent experience in commercial or healthcare construction
Active hospital or ground-up healthcare experience required
Strong MEP knowledge and phased construction experience
Comfortable traveling extensively and working on-site long-term
Knowledge of software systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, etc.), Adobe, BlueBeam, and CAD
Willingness to travel local and nationwide 25%+
High school diploma required
