This hands-on role focuses on managing procurement activities, supporting production requirements, and partnering with internal teams to ensure materials and services are available, cost-effective, and compliant with company standards.

Responsibilities
Coordinate purchasing of raw materials, components, and services to support manufacturing operations
Review purchase requisitions, issue purchase orders, and track deliveries to meet production schedules
Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm pricing, and manage lead times
Monitor inventory levels and support material replenishment to avoid shortages or excess stock
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier data, and pricing within ERP/MRP systems
Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
Support supplier performance evaluation and continuous improvement efforts
Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and finance teams on material needs and changes
Qualification
Required
7+ years of procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of manufacturing supply chains, material planning, and lead times
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
Ability to read and interpret BOMs and technical documentation
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
Preferred
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
