Administrative Director

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end administrative operations for a distributed, U.S.-based workforce—oversee office services, facilities strategy, vendor relationships, and executive support functions
Own administrative budgeting and expense management: set policies, manage approval workflows, and collaborate with finance to deliver accurate forecasting and monthly reporting
Manage vendor selection, contracting, and performance SLAs to reduce cost and improve service delivery (facilities, IT services, travel, and professional services)
Partner with People Ops to maintain HRIS/payroll integrations, streamline onboarding/offboarding processes, and enforce compliance with data privacy and regulatory controls
Implement standardized operational playbooks, process automation, and service-level dashboards to increase efficiency and measurability across administrative teams
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing administrative team; define role profiles, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Proven leadership in corporate administration, operations, or office management at a Director level or equivalent in a high-growth or distributed environment
Demonstrated experience owning budgeting, procurement, vendor management, and expense-control programs
Hands-on familiarity with HRIS and finance systems and integrations (for example: Workday, NetSuite, Concur)
Strong track record implementing operations playbooks, process automation, and KPI dashboards to measure service levels and cost savings
Preferred
Experience in commercial real estate, financial services, or professional services firms with distributed teams
Background managing compliance frameworks (SOX, data privacy) and partnering with internal audit or legal teams
