The Senior Mechanical Designer will contribute across the full product lifecycle, collaborating with junior engineers and leading projects to design and model tooling to support operations.

Responsibilities

Involvement in top level projects as lead Engineer
Design/model tooling to support operations
Work with Program Managers/ Business Development team on quoting jobs
Support Junior Engineering staff
Support scheduling for projects

Qualification

Mechanical EngineeringCAD toolsComposites experienceAnalytical skillsMS Office proficiencyCommunication skillsProblem-solving skillsAttention to detailProject management

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and or Aeronautical Engineering
Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering concepts, principles, and theories
Proficiency with CAD tools such as PTC CREO and Solidworks. CATIA a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Demonstrated creativity and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office and standard engineering software tools
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
10+ years experience minimum in an Engineering company
Role requires a U.S. Person status under ITAR
