Responsibilities
Take ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
Prepare and review GAAP financial statements
Strengthen accounting policies and internal controls
Support annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and ongoing financial analysis
Prepare variance analyses and operational reporting for leadership
Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
Recommend and implement process improvements
Supervise and mentor accounting staff
Qualification
Required
CPA required
Strong technical accounting skill set with an interest in expanding into FP&A
Preferred
Big 4 or Top 10 experience strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems preferred
Experience with manufacturing, distribution, utilities, or energy clients is helpful
Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
Senior Associate or early Manager candidates encouraged to apply
