Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to customize social studies programs aligned to state standards, supported by research, standards analysis, and gap documentation
Produce accurate, high-quality print and digital content that meets curriculum requirements and maintains appropriate reading level, grammar, and style
Research, interpret, and correlate state standards to existing programs to inform development decisions and ensure alignment
Follow established workflows throughout all stages of product development while tracking progress and maintaining documentation
Manage schedules, communicate project status, and work collaboratively to meet deadlines, resolve issues, and deliver required outcomes

Required

2+ years of product development experience, preferably focused on instructional or educational materials
Strong understanding of grades 6-12 social studies content, pedagogy, and state standards
Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple projects and succeed in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a strong command of English grammar and style, paired with effective organizational and time management abilities
Proficiency with digital learning and publishing tools such as MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, digital authoring platforms, and content management systems

Preferred

K-12 classroom experience strongly preferred
