Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one and group mentorship to faculty founders and early-stage teams
Guide teams in refining commercialization strategies and business models
Share expertise in startup strategy, market positioning, and early growth planning
Advise teams on crafting investor materials and preparing compelling pitches
Coach founders on engaging with investors and navigating due diligence
Help teams understand and access early funding pathways (grants, seed capital, angel investment, venture funding)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience)
two years full-time experience
demonstrated communication and human relations skills
commitment to provide excellent customer service
Preferred
Master's degree
Background in entrepreneurship, venture capital, startup operations, or technology commercialization
Expertise in specific technical areas or passion for advancing innovation and helping researchers translate discoveries into impact
