Qualification

Required

Proficiency in Data Science methodologies, Statistical Modeling, and Machine Learning

Expertise in Programming Languages, such as Python, R, and SQL

Experience in Research, including publication in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at professional conferences

Effective Teaching and Mentoring skills, with a commitment to student development and academic success

Strong Analytical, Problem-Solving, and Critical Thinking abilities

Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields is required by the time of appointment

Commitment to contributing to an inclusive academic community and promoting diversity in education and research

Preferred

Demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines and pursue external research funding is highly preferred
