Responsibilities
Install and upgrade elevator systems from ground break to final inspection
Maintain and repair equipment, servicing moving parts and machinery that operate on mechanical and electronic principles
Analyze information and troubleshoot to choose the best solutions
Professionally interact with customers, general contractors, and business owners
Qualification
Required
Hold an Elevator Mechanic license (or be able to obtain one within 6 months)
Minimum 5 years of experience in the elevator trade
Physically capable of climbing, lifting, balancing, and handling materials with precision
Able to travel and participate in an on-call rotation (afterhours may be required)
Preferred
Completion of a 4-year federally approved apprenticeship program is a plus
