Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Palantir Foundry Pipeline Builder
Develop and manage Ontologies , including Object Types, Views, and Actions for semantic modeling and graph-based data navigation
Create interactive applications using Foundry Workshop, Slate, and AIP , tightly integrated with Ontology-backed data
Perform time-series and ad-hoc analytics using Quiver and Contour , and advanced modeling/visualization with Taurus
Optimize transformations and data models using PySpark, SQL, and Foundry DSL for high-performance analytics
Integrate machine learning models into Foundry workflows for predictive insights and decision support
Ensure strong data governance , lineage, access controls, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX
Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions
Implement monitoring, alerting, and recovery strategies to ensure pipeline reliability and data quality
Maintain version control and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and rollbacks
Document system architecture, workflows, and enhancements using Foundry Documentation App and Confluence
Qualification
Required
8+ years of overall data engineering experience
5+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (AIP working knowledge required)
Strong expertise in Foundry modules: Ontology, Workshop, Quiver, Contour, Taurus
Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and TypeScript
Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, and Redshift
Solid understanding of data governance, security models, and regulatory compliance
Experience building dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and Foundry Dashboards
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis of data and ontology issues
Comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments
