Responsibilities
Gather and synthesize business/system requirements through stakeholder workshops, interviews, and process mapping; perform gap analysis and recommend solutions
Design and document current (as-is) and future (to-be) workflows; identify opportunities for automation and efficiency
Develop conceptual models, functional specifications, and user stories; partner with UX teams on wireframes and prototypes
Own backlog prioritization, support Agile development, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives; coordinate test planning and UAT
Define business deployment strategies, oversee readiness activities, and facilitate end-user training and adoption
Drive vendor engagements working with Procurement, Legal and Third-Party Risk Management
Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences; influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in the investment/securities industry; BS/BA in Finance, Computer Science, or related field
Expertise in financial services applications supporting transactional processing and reporting across the trade lifecycle
Strong knowledge of securities lending, repo transactions, collateral management, and custody operations
Experience with UI/UX design requirements and usability principles
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, and conceptual modeling
Exceptional communication skills—able to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment with a focus on risk and compliance
Proficiency with tools such as JIRA/Confluence, Visio/Figma
