Business Systems Analyst (Property and Casualty Insurance)
Saama is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in the Property & Casualty insurance industry. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring data integrity through solid SQL capabilities.
Responsibilities
Leverage SQL to understand complex data models, perform joins, and write queries for data validation and reconciliation
Apply a comprehensive understanding of the P&C Policy Life Cycle, claims processes, and various lines of business to meet project objectives
Translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring all solutions align with key industry metrics and client standards
Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless data flow and system functionality, particularly within insurance platforms
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in the Property & Casualty sector, with a firm grasp of insurance operations and industry-standard metrics
Solid foundation in SQL, including the ability to navigate data models and perform data reconciliation (Developer-level coding is not required, but query fluency is essential)
Proven ability to validate large datasets and ensure accuracy across complex systems
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Guidewire is a significant advantage and a high priority for our client
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
