5+ years expCoastal Ridge Real Estate is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to lead the daily and monthly accounting procedures and financial reporting for an investment portfolio of institutional, private real estate multifamily communities. The role involves month-end close, property budgeting, and serving as a trusted resource to investment partners and internal teams.

Responsibilities
Month-end close and reporting
Property budgeting and forecasting
Ad-hoc analysis
General ledger maintenance
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Maintain asset additions/disposals and reconcile balance in fixed asset system to general ledger
Review lender and operational agreements ensuring all reporting requirements are met
Calculate monthly/quarterly member distributions per operating agreements
Vendor invoice and disbursement review
Recording of escrows, capital expenditures, depreciation, and equity contributions/distributions
Serve as a trusted information resource to investment partners, multiple third-party service providers, and the internal operations, asset management, and acquisitions team
Assist in creating and executing detailed financial analysis and assigned departmental projects
Utilize technology in a forward-thinking manner to continue to drive new business efficiencies and investor solutions
Other duties as directed and assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics
5+ years of accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to sit at a desk for 8+ hours a day
Preferred
Previous real estate accounting experience within the areas of private investment and/or property management strongly preferred
Proficiency in Entrata or similar property management accounting software preferred
CPA preferred
