Sparus Holdings is looking for a full-time Gas Leak Survey Technician to inspect gas lines and pipes for leaks. The technician will be trained to detect, locate, and evaluate gas leaks, requiring flexibility to travel and work outdoors in various environments.

Responsibilities

Must be flexible to travel up to 75% of the time including occasional weekends may be required
Ability to fly/drive anywhere in the U.S
Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot technology as needed
Ability to drive-in all-weather conditions
Adhere to all safety and quality policies and procedures
Must be able to learn training material in classroom format and/or online courses and be able to pass all qualification tests for this role
Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking several miles per day
Carry a minimum of 20 lbs. of equipment
Be able to effectively communicate with customers in a courteous manner displaying excellent customer service and perform other duties as assigned
Observe and follow all company/client procedures
Be available for overtime (which may include weekends)
Be comfortable using computers/technology

Required

Inspect gas lines and pipes to determine the origin and severity of a gas leak
Trained to detect, locate, and evaluate gas leaks and report leaks to the local gas company
Drive a company vehicle
Have a reliable personal vehicle during training (typically 4-5 weeks) for daily work use
Flexible to travel up to 75% of the time including occasional weekends
Ability to fly/drive anywhere in the U.S
Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot technology as needed
Ability to drive in all-weather conditions
