Responsibilities

Secure enterprise information by determining and implementing security requirements

Plan, design, implement, and test security systems, including standards, policies, and procedures

Evaluate and select network and security technologies for LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, firewalls, and related devices

Design and support public key infrastructures (PKIs), including certification authorities and digital signatures

Ensure security architecture adheres to industry standards across on-premises, remote (DR), and cloud environments

Focus on application security (AppSec) and DevSecOps; support software development teams in secure coding practices

Mentor and guide security team members; answer technical and procedural questions; teach improved processes

Enhance security team competence by planning delivery of solutions and sharing best practices

Work within an environment involving network security, hardware configuration, protocols, standards, and supervision

Demonstrate strong decision making, dependability, and ability to inform others

Ensure compliance with and development of information security policies
