Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the SBU and Plant leadership teams to understand the plant goals, objectives and challenges including cross collaboration with manufacturing, supply chain management, project management, sales, engineering and IT
Partner and drive execution of financial objectives, capital plans, and operational projects; provide financial expertise in strategic planning discussions
Perform financial analysis on drivers of business performance, including project margin analysis, productivity, and inflation; suggest actions for improving business performance
Lead annual standard setting process and maintain accurate costing, perform cost rolls of inventory, and investigate deviations from standards
Collaborate with business partners on inventory reporting process, including forecasting future inventory levels and turns; partner with supply chain to identify mitigating actions to improve inventory velocity and cash flow
Spearhead annual physical inventory
Complete and present all monthly financial information (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) and analysis to business leaders
Analyze OSMI & warranty reserves and make necessary adjustments
Responsible for month-end accounting close activities including preparation of journal entries and reconciliations, analysis and presentation
Maintain strong internal controls in accordance with GAAP, FICAPs and SOX
Partner with the business to implement process control strategies around functional areas and IT systems, specifically focused on process simplification, automation, standardization, and internal control enhancements
Collaborate with the SBU Controller with M&A initiatives by compiling and analyzing financial data, preparing detailed reports, supporting due diligence processes , and assisting with integration activities to ensure smooth transaction execution
Lead and develop a team of 2 finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and providing mentorship and guidance

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
Must be able to effectively collaborate across the organization and positively influence business outcomes. Must effectively communicate with business leaders across all functional disciplines
Strong Cost Accounting background required
Proficient with utilizing technology, such as Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI, Excel - VLookup, XLookup, Pivot tables, Sumif, IF, etc.), Hyperion (HFM), Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Audit experience needed, SOX, etc
Experience with project ownership
Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills
Limited business travel expected: 5-10%
7+ years in similar role and manufacturing experience is preferred

Preferred

CMA or CPA is preferred but not required
