They are seeking an Associate Technical Editor Writer to write and edit technical documents, communicate technical specifications, and support a team of technical writers in producing high-quality documentation.

Responsibilities
Write and/or edits technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications
Communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences
Develop subject knowledge by interviewing engineering/manufacturing teams, observing performance of production methods, referring to technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals
Takes strong ownership to drive documentation through process from inputs to final distribution
Prepare illustrations from, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts
Performs quality review of materials
Executes verification/validation of procedures through hardware design, testing, up to final document distribution
Develops new concepts, techniques, and standards, Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings. Support implementation to a team of technical writers and text processors
Works with management on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in presenting to internal and external stakeholders at reviews/documentation conferences
Develop agendas and captures minutes to assess documentation impacts
Qualification
Required
Be completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Be majoring in or having majored in Technical and Environmental Communication, Technical Writing, English, Communication, or other related field
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Microsoft Office Software experience
Adobe Acrobat experience
Be completing or has completed their Master's degree from an accredited institution
Be majoring in or having majored in Technical and Environmental Communication, Technical Writing, English, Communication, or other related field
Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Microsoft Office Software experience
Adobe Acrobat experience
Preferred
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
Experience with US military documentation standards
Experience with Publication Software
Experience with Illustration software
Familiarity with electronics/wiring/schematic diagrams
