Associate Director - Climate Risk Advisory

Responsibilities
Serve as a technical leader for Climate Risk Assessment workflows, enhancing project delivery and client engagement across North America for the suite of Climate Risk Advisory (CRA) propositions
Work with Aon colleagues to identify growth opportunities, develop and refine client playbooks
Develop expansion of services and enhance the team’s value propositions working closely with the climate consulting leadership team
Support client presentation and project proposal development and delivery
Execute multiple work assignments, flexibly balancing priorities, to meet or exceed the expectations of our clients and colleagues, including the creation of project plans with detailed timelines and key delivery check points
Foster engagement between account executives and in-region client delivery teams to ensure solutions and services align with client goals and needs; maintain effective relationships with Aon teams and clients and identify patterns to best inform solutioning
Assist in the overall team effort for knowledge and best practices to be disseminated
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience
Strong knowledge of physical risk modeling (catastrophe and/or climate models)
Expertise in data preparation and processing, mapping and visualization (Python, Data Bricks, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, ArcMap, QGIS, etc.), and translating outputs into meaningful insights
Strong understanding of the risk consulting business
Ability to write complex reports and business correspondence, and document processes
Strong ability to simplify complex concepts for different audiences
Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented approach
Commitment to client service and business ethics
Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Data Science, a related field or equivalent years of industry experience
